The portal that opens in death, loss, thresholds and times of release (cultural perspectives)

There are significant times of the year when the veil in thin ; these differ depending on where we live and our cultural and family stories, stories in the land and the sky.

When someone we love dies, they open a doorway of release for us, as they transition between the worlds. This is part of traditional death rites.

We also find these doorways during other endings and deaths; when roles, or relationships change, in psychic death/ ego death etc.
